Blogging in Rome

There is a bar with internet access just across the road from the Hotel Emmaus. Rather nice to have a cold beer brought to your computer. I should get the chance to put up a couple of posts each day. I don't think it's going to be that easy to download the photos from my camera but I've brought the "biggie" and it is sunny here so you can expect some quite nice ones when I get back, at least.

Fr. How wonderful to be Full in the Panting Heart of Rome. For the past few years we have been in Rome this very week, but not able to visit this year. Santa Maria Maggiore is a particular favourite.

I would be very grateful if you would remember my daughter in prayer at any of the Churches you visit. She has an illness at the moment which is more mental than physical and is in need of prayer. It is causing her and us much distress.

I'm a regular reader of your blog and have left comments in the past, but on this occasion I would prefer to remain anonymous.

Many thanks and have a wondeful week.

If you can, dear Father, say a prayer at St Peter's for my late (childless) Aunt & Uncle who died within a week of each other last year. There's only me left to pray for them and they took me to Rome for the Anno Santo in 1975. Rome was very special to them. It would mean a lot to me too.

Enjoy your stay in Rome. If you get a chance, can you tell the Holy Father he's doing just fine.

Ta

Paulinus
