Summorum Pontificum celebrations

At Blackfen, we currently have Latin Mass at the Lady Altar on Saturday morning (currently Novus Ordo)at 10.30am, followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with the opportunity for confession. Benediction is as 12noon, followed by the Marian Anthem at the Lady Altar. Tomorrow, after Benediction has finished, there will be a little celebration with some champagne and chocolate cake. If you are in the area, you will be most welcome. My parish website gives directions to the Church.

The two young altar boys who serve the Saturday Mass are very keen to have the Classical Rite as they have now learnt how to serve it. They will be glad to know that the Holy Father has facilitated their legitimate aspirations! I'll make sure they get some of the cake and something suitable for them to drink too.

I'll be attending another celebration in the evening in a certain parish on the other side of South London that is not unsympathetic to the return of the Classical Rite.
